About the Ocean Suite...
As a composer I have always been interested in expanding my musical horizon and the idea of composing a suite was something new to me. Coming from Sydney, Australia, I grew up in an aquatic environment: "sand, sun & surf" as we say Down Under. The ocean also has a mysterious power that can sometimes surprise us, for example the Tsunami in Sumatra in 2004, a horrible reminder of how powerless we are against the forces of Nature.
Music is also a natural force and it´s power is not to be underestimated. A healing force. Let it flow!
